Manufacturing Engineer IV/Team Lead

Job Summary:

Schedule and supervise Manufacturing Engineering personnel developing the design of Production processes, fixtures, and other electro-mechanical equipment to facilitate new product introduction, legacy product support, and quality initiatives. Responsible for group deliverables of design and documentation of fixtures, procedures, and processes per project schedule and within budget constraints. Commit and deliver MFG ENG resources maximize Production support, Production improvement, and New Product integration. Maintain a high level of group performance in Production support of yield, quality, cycle time, and capacity of product manufacturing.

 

Job Details:

?  Facilitate group activities to solve challenges associated with New Product releases to Production, including schedules, routings, fixtures, testing, and documentation

?  Oversee activities for Manufacturability, Variation reduction, Cost improvement, and Cycle time reduction of all PFM&C products

?  Develop and maintain Quality processes that ensure repeatability, zero defects, and automated JIT Production

?  Supervise group in planning and delivering fully documented Production processes and training for Manufacturing personnel

?  Guide and support MFG ENG group activities through the use of Six Sigma tools and techniques (i.e. gage R&R, SPC, FMEA, CpK, etc)

?  Coordinate project information and group deliverables with other PFM&C areas such as Design Engineering, MES, Production, and Planning/Purchasing

?  Perform supervisory activities including yearly reviews, time card approvals and training plans for MFG ENG personnel

?  Supervise Oracle/ERP responsibilities including Routings, BOMs, and APC data

?  Supervise group responsibilities in QA (CARs, FAIs, FAs, etc)

?  Maintain commitments to ECO responsibilities

 

Job Requirements:

?  B.S. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

?  7+ years relevant experience

?  SolidWorks

?  Experience reading blueprints and schematics

?  Experience leading Six Sigma, Lean, Quality activities

?  Experience supervising 5 or more engineers/technicians

?  Experience managing Engineering projects (budgets, personnel, technology)

?  Experience leading new product releases to Production

?  Strong preference for pressure/vacuum/controls experience
