Manufacturing Engineer Level 1

Our client is in search of several Manufacturing Engineers Level 1 to begin employment Monday July 17th!!

 

SUMMARY:

The candidates would be responsible for the creation of reclaim bills of materials for system sub-modules, including classifying parts as reclaimable or not, building reclaim bills of material, writing COs to release reclaim bills of material, and creating and documenting the accompanying procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Classify production components (by part number) for reuse/scrap/rework for the creation of reclaim BOMs by both documenting the current process and working with engineeringCreate or modify work instructions related to the reclaim of used materials with assistance from technical writersCreate or modify work instructions related to the Company*s production processes with assistance from technical writersCreate product documentation/drawing trees and Bill of Material product structures using Agile software packageEngineering Change Order package creation and completion using Agile software packagePerform various process engineering tasks as required, including but not limited to improving manufacturing methods, application of statistical methods to analyze production data, and production database maintenanceWork within MS Word, Access, Excel, Power Point

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Engineering degree preferredThe qualified candidate must have strong data entry skills, as the majority of the time spent would be at a desk entering data
