Manufacturing Engineer-Process/Mechanical

MAC Inc/The Tradesman Network, a specialized Industrial and Manufacturing Recruiting Firm, has immediate openings for? experienced Process and Mechanical Engineers.? Successful candidates will be?responsible for optimizing business unit results based on developing engineering solutions to existing processes and proposing innovative solutions to improve business results.? Candidates will be expected to study actual equipment together with failure histories in order to design preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, lead failure mode / root cause analysis teams and develop reliability enhancements on existing equipment.? The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate fellow employees and outside contractors for the execution of major capital projects and major maintenance activities, develop tracking tools for downtime, and analyze resource needs.

???????? Able to work with team members and with cross-functional teams to optimize the operation of equipment through the implementation of optimal run settings, line balancing, preventative and predictive maintenance plans and process analysis.

???????? Engineering for Safety, Quality and Reliability.

???????? Successful candidates will have demonstrated implementation of improvement projects in a manufacturing environment using a basic knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and Six Sigma.? A driving desire to continuously improve process and equipment operation is a must.

???????? Able to scope and manage projects from equipment specification through equipment installation and start-up.

???????? Machine Design and Technical Support of High-Speed Converting Equipment

?? Cutting Technology (Die and Saw Cut)

???????? Pneumatics and Hydraulics

???????? Mechanical Power Transmission

???????? Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)

???????? Computer Analysis/Simulation

?? Ability to utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Factory Automation Suite)

s?? A working knowledge of Mechanical Design Standards is a plus

?? Familiarity with FMEA, Vibration/Oil Analysis, Equipment Analysis, Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Industrial controls and automation, Project management, Visual Basic Programming
