GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership and direct supervision for 10 to 12 Manufacturing Engineers. Must have demonstrated ability to perform capital budget planning, resource planning, capacity studies, justify capital equipment expenditures, identify manufacturing improvements (cost reductions) and manage projects.

EDUCATION: BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Masters Degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations desirable.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED: 10+ years experience with die cast and machining processes particularly aluminum alloy based materials. 5 years experience with direct line management of engineering/technical personnel in a manufacturing operations environment. Experience and or Certification in lean manufacturing and six sigma.

CHARACTERISTICS: Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment. Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects. Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. A highly motivated individual with demonstrated leadership ability.
