Manufacturing Engineers

Our client, an automotive manufacturer located in Lexington is seeking 4 Advanced Manufacturing Engineers (with 1 specializing in controls) for their team. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

? Participate in Cross Functional Team in support of designated roles and responsibilities and establish cost & timing for the introduction of new programs from concept to PSW.

? Maintain timing plans for new program launches and track all tasks for on time completion or required corrective action.

? Create and maintain with the CFT Process FMEA for new programs, create and maintain records of proposed manufacturing process including tooling and equipment line-ups and labor.

? Establish and maintain Equipment standards, Mistake Proofing Standards, and Functional Test Standards, bench mark all processes against other world class organizations.

? Participate with CFT in VA / VE, DFM/DFA workshops, implement recommendations and establish process capability for proposed processes and maximize capability. Work with current model ME in the purchase of Equipment at design release, participate in Six Sigma projects as required and coordinate prototype builds.

? Other job related assignments as per business requirement.

 

Educational Qualification:

 

? Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field and related experience required. 

? Applicants should poses excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints and have the capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 

? Computer literacy a must.

 

$ 60,000 salary to start with.
