Hands-On Manufacturing Engineers

Join a major manufacturing firm at one of their major plants in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina area. The key to success on this position is a pro-active approach to manufacturing engineering. A degree is not required for this position. If you understand machine shop practices, the routing of bills of material, have the ability and interest to help get new manufacturing and assembly lines up & running, deal with parts not fitting into assembles by recommending a redesign of the part or of the tooling fixture, can learn to help run the daily non-conformance meetings, issue work & re-work orders, help phase out the use of some older legacy tools like progressive dies, punch presses and form dies, then you are qualified for this position.

All of the above experience is not required. The most important attribute is drive and a hands-on attitude with the determination to do whatever is necessary to get good products out the door. 

Some of the processes utilized at the plant include: tube bending, OEM assembly, heat treating, welding, machining, casting, forging, roll forming of sheet metal with aluminum & steel.
