Manufacturing Manager

A high-tech precision tool & die and metal stamping manufacturer located is SE WI, is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager. We are looking for a team player with ability to work with customers, Designers and Tool Makers.

 

This position requires:

? Management of all shop floor activities including press room and secondary operations

? Plan, schedule and coordinate department activities to fulfill orders and deliver parts in a timely manner

? Participation in the cost-reduction activities

? Experience with Lean Manufacturing and TS 16949 initiatives.

 

The successful candidate should be an experienced manager with at least 10 years experience with tooling and metal stamping, 5 of which must have been in a management capacity with broad technical and administrative experience in this type of environment,  plus:Have a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques and related equipment associated with stamped partsHave experience in production scheduling and shop operationsBe a strong leader with outstanding communication and people skillsPossess computer skills, particularly shop floor control and production planningMust be highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team setting

 

This position will have daily communication with all manufacturing, customer service, materials, traffic, finance, manufacturing engineering associates plus tool design and tool room personnel.
