Manufacturing Manager , Lean Manufacturing Aerospace Assembly Fabrication

Industry leading developer and manufacturer of Aerospace Fluid Control Products and Systems has immediate need for Manufacturing Manager to oversee and improve production, assembly, and test of manufactured products in a lean manufacturing environment.  Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Materials/Procurement groups in developing and implementing new production programs.

 

Requires 10 years of ?hydraulic? industry or similar product experience. This may include fluids control products other than hydraulic (oil) such as cryogenics or pneumatics. This would include experience with valves, actuators, accumulators, reservoirs, pumps, etc.  5 years of managerial experience with 10 or more people.  Experience working with and implementing lean manufacturing principles.  Strong supervisory/managerial skills. Strong computer skills. Must be able to learn, understand and utilize our MRP system. Must be well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to use these tools to present continuous improvement efforts and to track, coordinate, schedule, document, etc. daily production activities.
