Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

Job Description:

 Oversee and participate in all aspects of Harris Digital Video Manufacturing Operations.Liaison with the Sales and Support groups on order priorities.Work with Corporate and Division manufacturing teams with respect to Contract Manufacturer deliveries, quality and needs.Work with engineering team with respect to prototype work at Contract Manufacturers.Assign daily tasks to Manufacturing staff.Daily shipping and receiving including all paperwork (domestic and international) for both outgoing orders and RMA?s.Generate reports on daily activities as needed.Other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelors (or equivalent work experience)Significant experience in software based system manufacture and test.Significant experience, in team supervision.Knowledge of inventory control practices.Knowledge of shipping and receiving practicesKnowledge of import and export practices.

 

Experience:

 Minimum of five years in a similar role.Must know International-shipping practices.Must have MRP and ERP experience.Self-starter and can work with minimal supervisionThis is a hands on position.
