Manufacturing - Plant Technician - Cayey, PR

Plant technicians are hired at entry level as members of a work team. Technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, for meeting performance goals and for maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products. Technicians do various types of work from running packing equipment to controlling the process from a computer terminal, or performing preventive maintenance on equipment. Technicians are expected to get involved, take charge of situations and confront business-related problems.

 

We are looking for packaging technician with packaging equipment mechancial skills. 

 

Primary responsibilities will be:
Basic operations of  packaging line machines
Executive Quality Integrate systems
Take microbiological contol samples
Execute packaging line clean ups and sanitization
Eliminate defects
Do line improvements
Do line changes activities
Execute Autonomous Maintenance
Resolve basic machinery problems that cause line stops or breakdowns.



MUST be willing to work rotating shifts including weekends.
Packaging equipment mechanical skills a must.
Good communications and writing skills.
Some leadership skills.
Computer literate.
Team work orientated.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, refugee, asylee or lawful permanent resident.
