Manufacturing Specialist Description: MANUFACTURING SPECIALISTS NEEDED - WAFER FABRICATION. This Fortune 500 Semiconductor Microchip Company in Dallas, TX is looking for you! This is a long-term contract position. Our successful employees will work in a state-of-the-art cleanroom and will be trained to operate automatic and semiautomatic equipment used in microchip manufacture and/or assembly/test. These facilities run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. PAY IS FROM $9 TO $13 PER HOUR DOE! EARN OVERTIME AFTER 8 HOURS EVERY DAY WORKED! RETENTION BONUSES PAID EVERY 90 DAYS FOR YOUR FIRST YEAR!


You MUST be flexible to work any 12-hr compressed shift schedule (e.g., 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am). Work 4 days/nights first week, then 3 days/nights the second week.


We are looking for your stable and steady work history in MANUFACTURING or other fast-paced, accurate, detailed, on-your-feet position. Qualified candidates will be evaluated for basic computer operating skills, reading and arithmetic skills, and must pass a mandatory criminal background and drug screening before hire.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED - higher education may not be suitable at this time. This job requires production experience, simple oral communication skills, high school-level reading skills, basic arithmetic skills, ability to read, write, and speak English, visual acuity and manual dexterity, ability to work any 12-hr day or night shift, and stand the entire shift fully smocked (hood, gloves, face mask, safety glasses, and zip-up smock). Need basic computer keyboard/internet skills and able to type 15 wpm. Must be able to pass a complete criminal background check and drug screen.
