Manufacturing Supervisor / 2nd Shift

Implements activities in production unit to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives, to include supervision of exempt and non exempt associates involved in production, assembly, subassembly or fabrication operations; by performing the following duties.

Reviews and prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, efficiency, materials supply and personnel resources; assigns associates to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.? Experience working in/supervising a machining, sheet metal and/or plastics operation.

Informs assigned associates of production and/or material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve operational problems affecting schedules.

Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in material, equipment, and procedures.

Develops schedules and personnel requirements for assigned area; maintains a variety of reports, records and production documentation.? Provides direct supervision to exempt and non exempt associates.? Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational guidelines, procedures and policies.

Will possess an Associates degree from a two year college or technical school; and a minimum of three (3) years related experience and/or training.
