Manufacturing Supervisor - Warehouse

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is accountable for managing all activities and associates (i.e. IBT Drivers and Night Loaders) with respect to the warehouse operation.  This position should ensure high quality standards with regards to shipping and at the lowest achievable cost while protecting and maintaining company assets.

Responsibilities include:  Ensure efficient operation of all phases of the warehouse operations, distribution and inventory control of all raw materials and finished products and control any and all losses with a full understanding of the entire process.  Work closely with production to ensure that all products in inventory are sufficient to handle the needs of all customers and are shipped under the quality standards set by DS Waters and the Quality Control department.  Ensure product is shipped in a timely basis and cooperation and constant communication must be maintained with customers and branches.  Ensure the standards of quality and finished product consistently meet the standards set by the FDA, NSF and the DS Waters Quality Control department.  Set all daily workload schedules that will efficiently manage the department while maintaining all the needs for the sales and marketing departments.  Maintain and inventory all chemicals, parts, supplies and equipment that are used in all aspects of the positions? responsibility.  Complete understanding of the transportation area as to maximize efficiencies and output and have the ability to quickly and thoroughly react to all new programs that could help the company and generate growth and possible revenues. Ensure all associates are properly hired and trained to operate and maintain all equipment to ensure efficiency, safety and quality.  This is not a complete description of the Manufacturing Supervisor I role.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or the equivalent.  College degree preferred.  3-4 years of warehouse management experience.  Computer proficient.  Ability to learn and understand programs.  Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.  Knowledge of DOT requirements.  Forklift experience.
