Manufacturing Techs Needed - 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Syntax-Brillian is currently looking for two Process Technicians (2nd and 3rd shifts) and one Test Technician (2nd shift) to join our manufacturing team.

 

The Process Technician supports and maintains all aspects of clean room electronic manufacturing processes.  This includes process optimization, material handling, operational training and oversight, and documentation.  Monitors in line process controls as well as critical product parameters to ensure quality results.  Assists in the development of new or improved processes, selecting and testing of new materials, and specifying new equipment.Prefer candidates with experience in electronics assembly. 

 

The Test Technician will troubleshoot both analog and digital components, will read schematics. The Test Technician will support production to ensure all test equipment is up and running, support engineering with new designs and experiments.  Must be able to work in a class 100 clean room in full clean room attire.  Experience with optics is desirable. Candidate must have strong communication skills, able to work unsupervised, willing to take directions from senior engineers, and be flexible to constant changing priorities & assignments.  Preferred candidate must have experience supporting electrical test equipment in a production environment and/or have worked on an engineering team designing new test/process equipment. Possess strong computer skills Hardware & Software highly desirable.  Three years experience with optical or electrical test equipment in a production environment.

 

Requirements

Education:  A two-year technical degree.



Knowledge and Skills:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a necessity.  The individual must be able to work very well with other team members on all organizational levels.  This position requires a flexible and adaptable person for an ever-changing engineering environment.  Organizational, problem solving, and decision making skills are essential.  Knowledge of electronics manufacturing process procedures and attention to details needed. Be able to stand for an extended period in a clean room uniform.
