Responsible for production fabrication and assembly of climbing hardware, employing a range of machines and equipment in this process. Responsible for initial inspection of hardware and has the authority to stop the process if adjustments must be made to equipment and to remove hardware from the process which may be defective.  Responsible for understanding and maintaining quality and productivity standards, and recommending process improvement through active team involvement.

 

Education:    Required: None

    Preferred:  High School Diploma

 

Work Experience:  Required:  None

    Preferred:  1-3 years milling/ punch press/ NC experience.



Skills and General Experience:  Must be energetic and self directed. Ability to read, write and converse in English is preferred.  Basic mathematics knowledge.  Basic problem solving and organizing skills.  Demonstrated proficiency in manual dexterity. Knowledge of rock climbing is helpful.  Knowledge and capability of machine operation and set-up is helpful.
