Market Analyst

This position is responsible for performing market analysis activities including meeting with customers, and Account Executives to develop marketing decision objectives and benchmarks, and designing effective call reports to provide meaningful market information on a client sales team. Analyzes and interprets both quantitative and qualitative data, and prepares spreadsheets and written reports to present data in clear, concise summaries. Maintains professional relations with clients and customers and meets scheduled deadlines. Assists area personal and keeps management well informed of activities and significant problems. Will have knowledge in management of data flow through multiple databases and how this information relates and interacts.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Assumes responsibility for effectively completing assigned Market Analysis.
Assumes responsibility for the effective completion of report analysis, interpretation and presentation.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with clients and external contracts.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with area personnel and with management.
Assumes management for data flow through SQL, ACCESS, and variable database structures.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.





QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, statistics, computer science or mathematics related field.
Two or more years of related experience in Market Analysis required.
Understanding of market research and analysis techniques.
Ability to manage the database structure of Access and SQL.
Able to use related computer applications including spreadsheet, database, word processing software.
Preference will be given for expertise in using Excel, Access and SQL Query Writing.
Good math skills and knowledge of statistics.
Solid written communication skills; proficiency in summary and report writing.
Good public relations skills.
Motivated and able to meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
