About the Opportunity

 

The Market Research Analyst provides marketing research to Marketing, R&D and Sales.  Responsibilities are to identify and prioritize research needs, to develop the most appropriate approach for data collection, to supervise external suppliers and to provide additional insight and interpretation to all levels of management.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide complete marketing research support through the identification of appropriate research objectives and directing resources in executing projects. Ensure that marketing conclusions and recommendations for all research conducted are clearly communicated; bring research conclusions of studies directly to bear on the marketing issues and opportunities. Ensure proper focus and prioritization of marketing research resources against business needs. Share responsibility with Marketing clients for recommendations regarding business decisions. Help direct the interpretation, use, and implications of consumer, marketplace, and environmental information to improve business decisions and knowledge base for future strategic planning.

RequirementsBachelor degree required. Strong industrial knowledge; must demonstrate an understanding of marketing, marketing services, account and retail sales Technically proficient with computer software tools, including knowledge of basic analysis and presentation software (e.g., MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word) Knowledge and experience with sophisticated research tools, techniques, and applications
