Marketing Associate

ITW Industrial Finishing is a division of a Fortune 200 company, Illinois Tool Works, and is the leader in providing equipment, service, and expertise to the liquid coatings and finishing process industries.  We engineer, manufacture, and market Binks, DeVilbiss, and Ransburg branded liquid spray finishing equipment for a variety of industries, including aviation, aerospace, ceramics, furniture, cabinetry, and general manufacturing.  We have the environment of a small, team-based organization with the benefits and support of a global corporation.

 

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Associate is to assist in the development and implementation of a wide range of marketing activities, supporting growth targets for the division.  Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this individual will work on the validation of new products, assist with new product launches, and provide post-launch assessment and analysis.  This individual will also assist with website development and maintenance, market promotions, trade show activities, and work to increase sales program effectiveness and efficiency. 

 

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related business degree required, combined with 2 ? 3 years experience in a marketing position with increasing levels of responsibility.  Ideal candidates will be highly organized, creative individuals who can work independently and efficiently on short and long-term marketing programs from concept to execution and analysis.  Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving, prioritization, and analysis skills.  Strong written and verbal communication skills mandatory, along with solid MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or web development software a plus.  Spanish language skills (written and verbal) desired; ability to travel (up to 40%) required.
