Marketing and Sales Director - Material Handling Products/Services

 

Job Summary

 

Manage all marketing and sales functions for battery charging products and services for material handling equipment including: the development and management of marketing/sales plans for current and new products, markets, services and distribution channels; Perform and/or direct market research/analysis and report findings and recommendations;  Coordinate with internal sales/order processing, customer service and support; Develop plans, strategies, objectives, policies and procedures to optimize internal efficiences, provide exceptional customer service and achieve established marketing and sales goals and objectives;  Provide effective management, leadership and support for assigned people, departments and teams.

 

Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or Marketing with experience and/or education equivalent to an advanced degree or a Technical degree with significant Marketing and Sales experience;Demonstrated effective management, leadership and organizational skills;Ten years sales/marketing experience including at least 5 years in marketing/sales management of commercial/industrial products and/or services;A working knowledge and demonstrated ability to develop effective marketing/sales programs and distribution channels for new products in manufacturing, industrial and motive power environments;Demonstrated ability to understand the technical aspects of Lester Electrical products/services and effectively communicate findings, ideas, concepts, applications and plans to a variety of internal and external customers;Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive market research, analyze market data/information and effectively report findings;Proficient in the use of office applications programs and software;Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate product technical concepts and applications;Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%.
