We are currently seeking an individual to lead and coordinate the Six Sigma strategy for over 15 U.S. and international manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include delivering formal training in Six Sigma techniques, coaching and mentoring black belts and green belts in the effective execution of projects, identifying and driving best practices solutions, supporting senior management and process owners in identifying, scoping and financially justifying projects that fit with business strategy, acting as a change agent to instill Six Sigma culture throughout the organization, and continuously pursuing reductions in process variations and the cost of quality.

To qualify, you should be a certified Master Black Belt and have a strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques as well as a proven track record of leading significant process improvements in a manufacturing environment. You must have completed 3 projects: experience in a metal-working industry is a plus.?? A bachelor?s degree is required, preferably with a major in Engineering. You should also be a high-energy individual with strong interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills with experience in delivering training to Black Belts and Green Belts and a demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and lead people in the achievement of manufacturing excellence.

While SPS Technologies is headquartered in the suburbs north of Philadelphia, this position could be based there or in Southern California depending on the incumbent.?
