Master Production Scheduler
Gast Manufacturing has an immediate need for a Master Production Scheduler located in Benton Harbor, Michigan. You will be responsible for insuring that customer requirements and on-time shipment goals are achieved. You will be involved in monitoring and maintaining the forecasting systems, coordinating the interface between Sales and Operations, validating the workflow and materials availability are maximized, coordinating new product launches, and maintaining the MRP systems. You will also be involved in key continuous improvement projects such as Lean, Kanban, and Six Sigma efforts.

Successful candidates will possess a bachelors degree, five years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment, strong working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems, and advanced knowledge
of APICS scheduling concepts. Knowledge of JDE, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing is a big plus. In addition, possessing APICS certification is also a great advantage.
