Master Scheduler

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: 

Develop a detailed master schedule for multi-site manufacturing, identify capacity and supply constraints.  Schedule customer orders based on next available production or lead-time, and coordinate with production schedulers.  Utilize IFS system to sequence production and standardize process, plan machines, options and accessories for products purchased and brand labeled. Communicate forecast needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
*1. Develop detailed master schedule for multi-site manufacturing environment.
*2. Identify capacity and supply constraints, set and maintain planning horizon.
*3. Facilitate customer order promising using available to promise logic.
*4. Coordinate with production schedulers at each manufacturing facility.
*5. Utilize IFS system to sequence production and standardize process across company sites, plan machines, options and accessories for products purchased and brand labeled.
*6.  Communicate forecast needs to OMP suppliers.
*7.  Maintain usage % on planning bills/configured BOM structures.
*8.  Place and maintain purchase orders for OMP products, option, and accessories.
  9.  Develop and implement continuous improvement program to meet organization service level and inventory goals.
10.  Develop and implement a continuous improvement program.
11.  Assist with the implementation of the Configured Product Module of IFS.
12.  Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1.  Bachelors Degree in Business or related field with a focus in operations management.
2.  3+ years experience in production scheduling/master scheduling.
3.  APICS/CPIM certification required.
4.  Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Demand Flow Concepts.
5.  Excellent interpersonal skills.
6.  Working knowledge of MS Office programs. Access programming a plus.
