Master Scheduler/Coordinator

Rochester Hills based plastic injection molder and custom tool builder seeks a talented and experienced Master Schedule/Coordinator.  This dynamic individual will work directly with upper management to establish the master production schedule.  This position requires constant monitoring of production levels and maintenance schedules for adherence to the master schedule.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Obtain and review customer purchase orders and/or releases to create the master production schedule.Schedule prototype molding to ensure 100% on time delivery of all orders, production and prototype.Request materials and maintain inventory of any necessary resin, components and supplies that are required to meet customer demands.Arrange for delivery of materials, components and supplies to ensure that work flow, production and transportation are not compromised.Track and maintain inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies as needed.Schedule preventative maintenance of presses as well as tools.Provide status updates of current work in process to appropriate department, managers and customers as necessary or as requested.Monitor daily production for adherence to schedule. Identify and communicate variances to management.
