Master Scheduler / Program Coordinator

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Master Scheduler / Coordinator to join our Livonia, Michigan team.  In this position, you will monitor, coordinate and expedite the flow of components and assemblies within or between departments to ensure production process follows the established production schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

?  Reviews sales orders to obtain production schedules and necessary materials information 

?  Requests materials and maintains inventory of any necessary materials and supplies that are required

?  Tracks inventory quantities and adjusts inventory records to reconcile discrepancies when they are observed

?  Monitors all production or repair related work to ensure that work flow, transportation, and production or repair schedules of sales orders are not compromised

?  Monitors work for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to comply with standards and specifications at each phase of production or repair process

?  Arranges for the delivery and distribution of supplies and components and expedites the flow of materials in a manner that will ensure production schedules are met

?  Prioritizes individual work assignments to ensure work is completed within the time that is allowed

?  Provides status updates of work orders in progress to appropriate departments and managers when necessary or as requested, to ensure accurate dissemination of work status

?  Alters work orders when modifications are authorized by engineering staff and updates related records to accurately reflect these new changes

?  Removes scrapped assemblies or components from inventory records to maintain accuracy and determine the impact of current work orders as a result

Requirements

?  High school diploma

?Proficiency with MS Office and Oracle software
