Material Control Coordinator
Sunnyvale, California



Under general supervision, we are seeking a Material Control Coordinator to provide key support for subsidiaries and special accounts. Candidate will provide back-up for Material Control Supervisor as well as being responsible for Material Control Clerk III assignments.



Responsibilities:
Responsible for order data entry and shipping coordination of an IDEC subsidiary account (IDEC Australia, England, Germany and Japan) and the correspondence with the subsidiary account regarding such items as order expedites, processing of open order reports, and pricing quotes.
Responsible for order data entry and shipping coordination of special accounts.
Review and ?booking? of daily RMA?s entered in Oracle.
Investigation of defective claims made by distributors, issuance of replacement warranty order and maintenance of log. Coordinate with RMA department with regards to open RMA?s, matching of credits to RMA receiving and distribution of monthly credit report. Oversee Clerk III.
May evaluate material shortages and work with purchasing department in the ordering of necessary stock.
Participate in Physical Inventory.
Other duties as assigned.



Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or five or more years related experience.
Strong knowledge of importing/exporting regulations required.
This position requires strong office computer skills including Word, Excel, and Access.
Knowledge of IDEC product identification system is a plus.
