Material Logistics/Purchasing Specialist
Adecco Technical has an immediate opportunity for a Materials Logistics/Purchasing Specialist with a global medical/healthcare supply leader located in Aurora, OH. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a large company, and is a contract position with a possibility of future full-time hire!
Responsibilities Include:
Determine items to be ordered weekly based on the MRP report priorities
Create purchase orders, editing for accuracy, management signature approval, faxing and attaching supplier acknowledgements to the purchase order and the filing
Resolve accounts payable discrepancies within 48 hours of notification
Work closely with quality control to process non-conforming part issues
Work closely with engineering to determine the best supplier to satisfy their needs
Confer with suppliers concerning late deliveries or expedites
The perfect candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree
Logistics or Supply Chain background in an assembly line/manufacturing environment
Excellent communication skills
Data Analysis skills
High energy level, enthusiasm, and assertiveness
Customer services skills and abilities to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong MS Excel skills
