Major Function:
? The Material Planner position will manage the production, purchase and distribution of ceramic tile and natural stone inventory.
? Key performance indicators for these positions are inventory turns and material availability.
? Key contact for Customer Service and Sales for product availability inquiries.
? Our Material Planners have the utmost responsibility of planning and production direction for our ten manufacturing plants.
Requirements:
? BA, BS or BBA degree in: Supply Chain Management or Operations, Logistics, or a quantitative field, i.e., Business, Math, Engineering, Industrial Resources, or Economics.
? Requires excellent analytical and quantitative skills
? Demonstrated ability to balance priorities
? Strong organizational skills
? Requires PC proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access.
? Prior experience (such as an internship or at least one year) in material planning or supply chain management is a definite plus!
