Material Planner Scheduler

Meets product inventory demands and manufacturing production schedules by analyzing and purchasing inventory using MRP system. 

 

Duties:

 Order components for customer demand using MRP system. Monitor incoming supplier shipments and outgoing customer shipments for accuracy of order fulfillment. Enter customer orders, supplier orders and work orders to meet production. Process pick sheets for daily shipments. Revise production schedules as needed to fulfill customer requirements. Responsible for maintaining acceptable inventory levels for each item scheduled as defined by management. Work in conjunction with other departments to maintain good flow of communication. Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualification/Skills:

 Knowledge of MRP procedures and processes.  Automotive experience a plus. Knowledge of JIT concepts. Organized and detailed. Strong customer service skills.
