Material and Kitting Supervisor

Science and Engineering Services Inc.  is a rapidly growing small business supporting various governments organizations located on Redstone Arsenal and supporting DoD weapon system hardware with mechanical and electrical manufacturing, aviation and ground platform manufacturing/integration, total turn-key solutions and other support services.

 

Position will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and stockroom processes, including supervisory duties, monitoring/coordinating material flow, prioritizing workloads, and ensuring on-time delivery of material.  Position will be responsible for ensuring inventory data integrity in MRP system and initiate corrective actions.  Position will enforce the rules of conduct and all safety regulations established by the company.

 

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the manufacturing supply industry; with heavy emphasis on MRP and its operation.  Must have experience with identifying materials such as metal, electrical/electronic components; must understand distinction between assemblies and piece parts and know how they are kitted for integration or shipment. Quality background a plus, as well as prior military schooling in Supply MOS/AFCS.
