Materials Associate II

POSITION PURPOSE

Maintains material levels at material storage locations to ensure continuous flow of printer production with a primary focus on the replenishment of material from bulk warehouse.

 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.  Picks and delivers parts form bulk warehouse to forward material storage areas.

2.  Accurately completes system transactions for material movement.

3.  Maintains current certification to operate walkie rider and picker equipment.

4.  Prints and applies bin labels.

5.  Operates electronic scale equipment.

6.  Ensures FIFO stock rotation.

7.  Maintains order, cleanliness and safe working conditions in work area.

8.  Assists in yearly physical inventory, if required.

9.  Performs other duties as assigned.

 MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

? HS Diploma or GED

? 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment and 1 year as a material handler

? Basic math aptitude

? Basic computer aptitude

? Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

? Ability to consistently lift up to 70 pounds

? Ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions

? Adequate verbal and written communication skills

? Adequate organizational skills
