Materials Coordinator - Direct Hire
We have a direct hire opportunity for a Materials Coordinator position for a metal company located in Auburn.
Main duties and responsibilities for the position include:
*Monitoring, managing, sorting and processing all scrap metal materials generated within the facility.
*Act as the on-site liaison representative at the customer's location to ensure accurate control of materials being generated for recycling.
*Maintain scrap collection area.
*Routinely transport scrap from all collection points within customer's facility to main scrap collection area.
*Operate and maintain chip briquetting equipment.
* Utilize tracking and control system to record and track materials.
*Train customer personnel, as required, in the proper & accurate segregation & collection of metal alloys.
*Will operate mobile equipment e.g: forklifts, trucks, etc.
Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
