Materials Handler

 

 

Taylor Made Labels, Inc., one of the largest narrow web print converters in the beautiful Pacific Northwest has an immediate opening for a materials handler to join our team in our fast paced, growing company.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 Receives and inventories incoming raw materials.Maintains a neat, organized, and orderly warehouse.Requisitions, prepares, and transports allocated stocks as required; develop a good over-all knowledge of material types and alternatives.Dispositions roll stock returns and defective materials.Equipment knowledge and capabilities.Activity planning.Contributes to a favorable working environment.Physical and mental abilities.

 

The candidate chosen for the position must:

Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

Have good basic math skills; able to read and understand English

Be self motivated and able to work in a fast paced and customer oriented environment, with excellent attention to detail; ability to type.

Have a high school degree/GED

Be able to work standing, walking; requires bending, lifting, pushing and pulling frequently and for extended periods. Be able to climb stairs, carry up to 40 lbs, lift 100 pounds to 4 foot height, and maneuver 160 pounds on floor;

Have at least two years experience in material handling
