Materials Manager II

Description: The Materials Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of production and procurement planning and execution within the facility. The role will include, but not limited to:

o Development and implementation of overall Materials strategies to improve On Time Delivery, Inventory Turns and Costs.
o Development and management of departmental budgets
o Providing daily supervision of Purchasing and Production Planning employees
o Development and execution of LEAN departmental processes
o Providing Customer liaison for manufacturing requirements
o Providing Vendor collaboration oversight
o Providing management reporting
o Providing capacity planning oversight
o Participation in development of Plant Strategies

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold a college degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field. A strong background in MRP is required with substantial experience with SAP R-3 preferred.
