Mechanical Assembler C

Job Specifications:

The function of the manufacturing group is to assemble, test, paint, and ship mobile pressure pumping equipment.? Assembly mechanics with varying levels of technical expertise are required for the assembly.? Mechanical Assemblers report to the Lead Mechanic who is responsible for the project on the shop floor.? Supplying equipment to field locations is considered a support function, which is the basis of the location of the facility you will be working.

Function/Responsibility:

Capable of using hand tools 40% of time.

Work with others in a group 30% of time.

Capable of taking instruction verbally and written 20% of time.

Drive forklift 10% of time.

Preferred Skills:

Ability to organize work area and clean frequently.

Ability to test equipment.

Desire to perform other duties as required.

Education Requirements:

GED

?

Must have at least 0-3 years of experience to be eligible for this position.

Must show initiative

Must show good judgment skills

Must control work methods.

Must be safety oriented.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for an extended amount of time without being able to leave the work area.

Climbing ladders, scaffolding and working in overhead areas.

Lifting 0-50 pounds frequently.

Pulling and or pushing on a frequent basis.

Carrying objects in arms or on shoulders frequently.

Grasping and picking up objects regularly with your fingers.

Stooping and crouching.

Crawling in confined spaces and moving about on hands and knees.

Speaking and expressing ideas by the spoken word.

Listening-requires the perception of speech or the nature of sounds in the air.
