MECHANICAL ENGINEER
LOCATION: Billerica, MA
DEPARTMENT:Operations
REPORTS TO:VP Operations
POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking to add a Mechanical Engineer to our Production Development and Support Group. This position will require participation in the problem solving activities for all released products. Also, a focus on the mechanical aspects of our systems and will also require frequent review and modification of existing designs to accommodate the evolution of purchased materials. Also, this position will require participation in all new product development activities, giving guidance on design for manufacturability, cost and reliability concerns.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS /SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
? BS in Mechanical Engineering
? Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement experience
? Designing or modifying existing brackets, enclosures, mountings etc.
? Low volume, manual assembly operations preferably for a PC based product offering
? CAD experience using AutoCAD, ProE
