Premier manufacturer of high precision waterjet machining centers is seeking Mechanical Engineer.  Applicant will work on R&D projects assisting in the design and development of experimental apparatus and prototypes.  Responsibilities will include developing concept designs that meet design goals, creating solid model assemblies using SolidWorks, generating part drawings, determining tolerance and fits of assembly parts, performing a wide array of mechanical design calculations and performing laboratory tests.  A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer is required.  Must also possess a strong background in mechanics of material; exposure to pressure vessel theory a +, excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Demonstrated ability to manage small projects with an extraordinary attention to detail and experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.OMAX offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k).  Only qualified applicants will be contacted.  Fax resumes to (253) 872-9660, email to humanresources@omax.com or send to:
