Mechanical Maintenance Technician

DTE Energy Services, an unregulated affiliate of DTE Energy is hiring a Fuel Handler, Steam Plant Operator and a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our Woodland, California facility. Qualified candidates must posses a high school diploma or GED, with training on equipment, loaders, trucks and welding. A valid driver?s license is required. Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

 

 

Mechanical Maintenance Technician

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, the primary responsibility is maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all mechanical equipment at a solid fuel fired steam turbine electrical generation plant.  This position will range from routine maintenance to complex mechanical troubleshooting and the use of precision measurement tools. Qualified candidates must posses 4 years of experience as a mechanic/machinist.  Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following skills: pipefitting, welding, machining, rigging, rotating machine repair, fabrication, machine alignment, piping schematics, mechanical drawings and basic vibration analysis.
