Mechanical Solid Works Design Drafter

About the Opportunity
Scranton Manufacturing Co., Inc., an industry leader in producing garbage trucks bodies is seeking a Mechanical drafter with strong design skills to join our team. You will assist in product design and documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3D design experience who feels passionately about working in an exciting stable industry and contributing to the success and growth of the company.

Qualifications
* SolidWorks, work experience is preferred but will consider applicants with experience with other solid modeling systems and or training.
* Education required for the position is a 2 year technical certificate or equivalent experience.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills in a team-oriented environment.
* Fabrication and welding knowledge a plus.
* Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical circuit designs a plus.
* A minimum of 1 year of hands on experience in mechanical design with mobile industrial equipment preferred.
* Grasps technical concepts and communicates them quickly.
