Mechanical test technician.

SHIFTS: Two weeks of days 6am-2:30pm, two weeks of 2nd shift 2:15pm ? 10:45pm.

Pay $12-15 per hour

Position Details:

Final Mechanical Assembly of a machine. The systems main three components are joined together by the checkout technician using routine mechanical skills and common hand tools. Once the assembly is complete, the machine will go through a barrage of tests, mostly driven by a machine controls unit and two computers, however, there are also mechanical requirements. Must have computer aptitude including: Copying and Pasting, Alt-Tab and others windows navigation tools, able to create folders for compiling data, etc. The technician will perform tests on the machinery using the controls device and record findings. Some of the mechanical test will involve: toner removal, print, driver test. The procedures are step-by-step, with photos or diagrams, and must be followed to a tee. The entire test takes approximately 2 ? - 3 weeks. Errors are documented, troubleshot, and escalated if no solution is determined. Following the test, the technician will be responsible for a disassembly of the machine back to three parts. They will use tools to palletize the machine for shipment. Candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs with some regularity.
