Melt Manager

FPC has a growing metals mill client in the Southern USA that is seeking an experienced Melt Manager. The hiring manager is looking for a skilled Electric Arc Furnace melting professional that is accomplished in installing and commissioning melting equipment, developing processes and improvements, and leading melt production departments. The hiring manager would prefer to have someone with prior plant start up experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an EAF steelmaking/melting leader to join a progressive mill operation in a melt start-up. This position offers an excellent compensation, benefits, and relocation package.

Requirements:
BS, Engineering degree
5+ years of EAF steelmaking leadership experience
Significant melting supervisory/management experience over 40+ personnel
Accomplishments in improving melt operations and production processes
Lean & Six Sigma skills are a plus
Prior melt shop start-up experience is a plus
US Citizen
