Annaco Incorporated is an Akron based metal processor and recycler.  Our business is diverse, fast paced, and environmentally and safety conscious.  We seek a talented individual to join our non-ferrous operations department team in the role of Metal Yard Technician.

 

In our business, we buy scrap non-ferrous metals, add value through various forms of processing, and sell the processed material to end users such as mills.  Non-ferrous materials, such as aluminum and stainless steel, come in a variety of different grades, each with a different value.  In this role, the Metal Yard Technician is responsible for determining the precise grade of materials by operating a hand held analyzer and ensuring that different metals are segregated and sorted.

 

We seek an individual with technical acumen, computer skills, and proven experience working in a hands-on, fast paced industrial environment.  This position is performed mostly outdoors. Experience in an industrial setting, warehouse, outdoor environment and/or metal recycling is preferred.
