Moly Processing Utility Worker

Job Description

Major Responsibilities
Work in a highly effective teaming environment while safely assisting in the production of molybdenum. Operates and performs minor maintenance of equipment in all areas under the responsibility of the Moly Processing Department. These areas may include Utility, Packaging, Leaching, Roasting, Filtering, and Rhenium Processing sections of the plant. Follow safety, environmental, and standard operating procedures. Perform other duties in all areas of Moly Department as work load requires.

Minimum Requirements
- Proven ability to work safely with minimal supervision.
- Must be a team member, able to work with minimal supervision and flexible to take on additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to train and perform in all Moly Processing Department jobs.
- Capable and willing to learn the operation of required equipment including forklifts, pumps, dryer, and filters.
- Able to lift und manipulate to 50 pounds in materials, parts, equipment, and tools.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as extreme heat
- Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas
- Ability to use all hand tools
- Proven ability to comply with safety and environmental requirements
- Ability to work rotating shifts (12 hour shifts)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able and willing to work a variety of work schedules, call-outs, and overtime.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Internal candidates must meet other requirements as described in the Guiding Principles.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a processing plant.
- Previous experience in forklift operation, pumps, dryer, and filters.
- Some mechanical skills preferred (i.e. repair of pumps, piping, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, and structural steel).
- Cutting/welding experience
