New Business Account Representative - (AF129071)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for accurately administering life insurance applications from data entry to issue including all New Business processes. This includes data collection, communicating status and outstanding requirements, coordinating agent validation, processing money, processing replacements (internal and external), policy issue and post issue follow-up. Partners with co-workers and team to maintain a high performing organization that meets and exceeds client expectations.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor's degree in business or liberal arts or equivalent experience. 2 - 3 years of New Business experience desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of life insurance products. The candidate should be able to show through work related and/or academic experience, an ability to make decisions effectively and efficiently. While in this position, a willingness to successfully complete recommended industry exams. Ability to work with all levels of the organization. Proficient PC skills. Be able to communicate via phone and E-Mail in a clear, accurate and timely manner. This role requires the incumbent to demonstrate a strong client focus by effectively negotiating win-win outcomes, anticipating client needs and displaying a high sense of urgency and follow through. Being an effective member of the New Business team requires the need to be open and receptive to change, the ability to be a strong team player and the ability to work successfully with internal and external partners. Strong organizational skills and time management skills are required. Good analytical skills.
