Position Description:
The New Products Manufacturing Specialist will ensure the successful launch of new products by reviewing documentation accuracy, scheduling production run and completion of formal report documenting all aspects of production run. This position will also make recommendations for capital requirements as it pertains to new products and verify manufacturing instructions and assist operator with actual batch manufacturing.(Hands on)

The following are key accountabilities:
? Review documentation
? Schedule scale-up
? Make recommendations for Capital if required
? Verify manufacturing instructions (MI s)
? Prepare formal report for each production run
? Ensure documentation is accurate and available prior to production run
? Ensure materials and resources are available to meet launch timelines
? During early engagement document (EED) and concentrate assessment document (CAD) stage, assess manufacturing capability ensuring the correct equipment is available for manufacturing
? Provide hands on assistance verifying the manufacturing instructions. Recommend changes as needed. Qualify operators on final MI s.
? Complete full assessment of production- documenting raw materials, batch manufacturing and filling issues. Will also provide recommendations for process improvements

The following are required for this position:
o Minimum of four to five (4-5) years experience in manufacturing or engineering fields
o College degree in engineering, food science or other related field
o Strong written and oral communication skills
o Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
o Must be detail oriented with demonstrated ability to work independently
o Project management skills strongly desired
