Night Proofreader

The Flyer Publishing Company, Miami's best reading-shopping weekly magazine is looking for a night proofreader in our Production Department.  The candidate will be responsible for checking all Flyer products for accuracy against the sales reps layout.  Ensure that all information is correct and that logs are kept accurate and up-to-date.

 

Skills Required:
Basic Academic skills.  Average Macintosh skills.  Maximum 45 wpm at 100% accuracy.  Basic Knowledge of graphic design and the programs use.  Ability to read a wide variety of products in the half of the time assigned to composers.  Ability to write clear and precise instructions for others to follow.  Excellent command of the English language, bilingual a plus.  Detail oriented with good follow-up skills.  One or two years experience in copywriting, editing, proofreading or graphic arts background preferred.
