Non-Ferrous Supervisor

River Metals Recycling, LLC,  industry leader in scrap recycling is currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Supervisor for our Newport, Kentucky Yard.  RMR offers a competitive salary and excellent benefit package which includes medical, dental, life, 401k, short/long term disability, and vacation.
Job Requirements:
 1.Managerial or supervisory experience of at least 2 years or educational background of related field. 2.Experience in the scrap industry a plus. 3.Excellent time management skills. 4.Excellent communication skills both oral and written. 5.Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook Express. 6.Ability to make accurate decisions while under pressure. 7.Flexible work schedule.
Description of Duties:
 1.Responsible for the daily operation and production of the Non-Ferrous Department. 2.Responsible for all hourly employees assigned to the Non-Ferrous department, recruiting (coordinating with the temp services), interviewing, hiring, training, disciplining, counseling etc. 3.Strict adherance to all Safety, Environmental and Quality programs, ensuring all employees comply with the policies associated with these programs. 4.Ordering parts, scheduling maintenance as needed on mobile equipment. 5.Ability to perform all jobs associated with the Non-Ferrous Department as needed. 6.Ensure that processed scrap meets specifications for customers. 7.Ability to plan and organize on time shipments via barge, rail, truck. 8.Any other job duties as assigned by General Manager and/or Operations Manager.
