Offset Press Operator

Liturgical Publications, Inc., the longstanding national leader in the publication of communication tools, is seeking a detail and quality-oriented professional to join its team.? The successful candidate will be able to operate and maintain Didde color offset presses; prepare ink for color consistency; read and interpret orders to determine document arrangement, number of copies and disposition; inspect printing plates for correct information and continually monitor equipment.

Qualifications to apply:

???????? High school or GED equivalent preferred.

???????? Working knowledge of small color offset press required.

???????? Strong interpersonal skills.

???????? Must speak and read English.

???????? Must have good mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge and be able to maintain and perform minor repairs to the press.

???????? Requires good mathematical skills and attention to detail.

???????? Must have the ability to apply written instruction to machine setup and maintenance.

???????? Proven ability to work in a team environment and ability to communicate effectively with press helpers, plate makers, pre-press division and other personnel.

???????? Must possess the highest standard of integrity and quality.

???????? Must possess the ability to exert 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds of force frequently.

???????? Must have flexibility to work overtime as required.

???????? Must be or become certified for forklift operation.

???????? Must work well under stress and deadlines.

???????? Must have ability to stand for 10-hour work shift.

???????? Must pass mandatory pre-hire drug screening.
