Operational Excellence Coordinator

Description:
Eaton Corporation located in Los Angeles, CA has an opening for an OPEX Coordinator (External Title) Senior Analyst-Lean Mfg (Internal Title) Operational Excellence team member with the responsibilities for Lean and Six Sigma process deployment at the plant level. Main job duties center around the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma strategies, which will lead to improvements in factory margins, product delivery performance, employee safety and reductions in product/process variation.

Helps develop and implement the site Lean and Six Sigma strategy, define actions, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
Assists in Providing/Facilitating site Lean and Six Sigma training.
Conducts Eaton Lean System (ELS) assessments, and identify performance gaps. Works through the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.
Provides Lean and Six Sigma support across the organization to drive short-term and long term business improvements.
Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance.
Key member of the site continuous improvement (Lean and Six Sigma) team, and supports corporate improvement initiatives and reporting. Assists in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.

Qualifications:
. Formal training in Lean with at least 2 years of related experience.. Operations or Product Engineering experience. Excellent communication skills. Proven capability to lead change in a team environment.. Strong analytical skills, Six Sigma training desired.. Ability to manage multiple projects/activities
