Optical Lab -Breakage Analysis Technician

Ophthonix, Inc., has developed a proprietary integrated solution to deliver the first ever benefit of fully customized, non-surgical vision optimization.  Our solution has the potential to revolutionize the eye care business by redefining the science of refraction and prescription eyewear lens manufacturing.

 

As a part of the Quality Assurance department this position will be working in the optics lab to trouble shoot lens breakage, post breakage into the lens manufacturing system and forward to stock pull.  Will create breakage reports using Excel and will be responsible for archiving job histories.

 

Requires a minimum 2 years experience in an optics lab with a proven ability to consistently and independently follow policies & procedures, ability to read and interpret technical procedures and work instructions.  Clear concise verbal and written e communication skills are necessary.  PC skills in a Windows environment including Word and Excel needed.  Manufacturing experience in a clean room and/or ISO certified environment a plus.
