PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING PROCESSORS / PROCESS TECHNICIANS/ENGINEERING INTERNS

ENGINEERING INTERNS

 

Responsibilities include opening drawing files with the current engineering directory, interpreting drawing information, assigning it a new logical identification number, providing a description based on a pre-defined legend, and relocating the file to new directory locations on the network based on analysis and interpretation of the drawing.  Drawings that will be evaluated include multiple equipment / machinery, tooling / molds, and maintenance parts / inventory items currently generated and saved within the Engineering network directory system. The interns need to possess the following skills:

 

Must be enrolled in an Engineering / Technology program. 

Must be computer literate to include working with files in MS Explorer, Excel, & AutoDesk: AutoCAD Lt. (2D) & Mechanical Desktop (3D).

Must be a quick learner of our manufacturing equipment and processes, able to

communicate well with others, self-motivated, willing to spend 75% of their time at a computer terminal, 25% of their time on the floor.

 

PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING PROCESSORS / PROCESS TECHNICIANS

 

Responsibilities include completing material / color changes, setting molds, processing machinery to meet quality requirements, and setting up / adjusting secondary equipment.  Candidates must possess process trouble shooting skills; be able to perform minor tooling set-up requirement.  Experience with Engel, Cincinnati, &/or Husky injection molding machines as well as associated robotic equipment is a plus.
